16Feb

On February 16th an agreement was reached with Krost on a new exciting project in Moscow City. As is customary in Russia the project carries another neutral code name, K14 that surprisingly tends to sound more poetic the more we work on the project. Although after some wandering the program of K14 arrived at about the same as K12 (15.000 sqm. of residential floor space), the task is completely different. This has to do with the all-determining Russian insolation rules. Out of these rules in relation to the surrounding buildings comes an ‘impossible’ volume that requires a cunning plan in order to come to an apartment building that convinces with its architecture and its living comfort.
