In the concepts of the Schutterstoren and Australi\u00eb-Boston the individual freedom in layout was stretched to the limits of regulatory obstacles. The freedom obtained here was well appreciated by the residents. In Squares another sensitive aspect in architectural design is addressed: Individual freedom in the facade! Here a clear concrete grid is introduced as binding element of the facade. Large freedom of choice is offered for the squares within this grid. Therefore a set of contrasting options is made available to the future residents.
