{"id":948,"date":"2013-11-07T12:19:27","date_gmt":"2013-11-07T11:19:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.pauldevroom.com\/wordpress\/?p=948"},"modified":"2013-11-07T12:56:23","modified_gmt":"2013-11-07T11:56:23","slug":"sign-of-the-month","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pauldevroom.com\/?p=948","title":{"rendered":"Sign of the Month"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At het moment that the first nameplate of \u2018Paul de Vroom architecten\u2019 was put on the facade at the Maaskade spontaneously an idea arose which is symbolically called: \u2018Nameplate of the Month\u2019. It means that creative people who in some way are connected to the studio are invited to participate in the design of a regularly changing nameplate. The brief only states the dimensions, the house number and the name of the studio.<\/p>\n<p>This first sign was made by Dutch artist Carine Weve, one of our kindred spirits. She was inspired by the color scheme of the Catalan football club Bar\u00e7a of which Paul is a passionate member. The sign was immediately \u2018liked\u2019 by passers-by as well as Dutch and Catalan friends. All,\u00a0 including the Catalans,\u00a0 appreciated it particulary because of the indisputable link to the Dutch modern tradition.
