In the last report on the progress of the construction works of the ROC building we promised better pictures quickly. Well, here the are! The building is free from all scaffolding and is now showing the facades in all its glory. Although the ROC still needs a lot of work to be finished, its appearance already attracted attention from the outside world. The first publication is already on its way!

In order to understand the architecture of the ROC better it is good to know that the building is part of the urban ensemble ‘Kanaleneiland Field 3’ which consists of three urban blocks: Block I is the ROC, Block II contains townhouses and an apartment building with a neighbourhood service centre in its base and Block III. This block consists of an apartment building and townhouses. The credits for the last apartment building goes to Mei architects, those for the other buildings in Block II and III go to ‘BOSCH, DE VROOM, SCHUURMANS Ass.’.
